Sautéed Shrimp with Three Wild Peppers

Sautéed Shrimp with Three Wild Peppers

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 500 g of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil from Huilerie Beaujolaise
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of pepper sauce (optional, for more flavor)
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • A handful of fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon of Three Wild Peppers from Terre Exotique
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Methods:

  1. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until lightly golden.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are well-cooked. Sprinkle ground black pepper over the shrimp and mix well.
  3. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and optionally the pepper sauce. Add this mixture to the shrimp and stir to coat them evenly.
  4. Add the strips of red bell pepper to the skillet and sauté with the shrimp for a few minutes until they are slightly tender. Remove the skillet from the heat.
  5. Serve the sautéed pepper shrimp over a bed of cooked rice. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
