Details
This fleur de sel is harvested on the Californian coast and has been cold smoked in oak barrels which were previously used for ageing Chardonnay wine. The contact with the wood gives the salt crystals woody and tannic tastes similar to those of a grand cru wine.
The sweet and delicate notes of this mix are perfect with vegetable mash, pot-au-feu stew or cream sauces. Delicious with a rib of beef, scallops, game or a simple summer salad.
