Details
This peppercorn with its fruity and smoky notes is called "Malam" by the traders of Loum (Cameroon, Province of Moungo). It has subtle flavours of mint and camphor.
The Bamileke people use it in their famous "Poulet DG" or "MD Chicken dish". "MD" comes from Managing Director as it was traditionally served to high ranking personalities. It's a casserole with chicken, plantains, rice, ndoleh, herbs, a stock cube and spices (ganshu, peppers...).
