Pink diamond salt crystals
These are fossilized sea salt crystals, formed more than 260 million years ago and remain to this day totally untouched by pollution.
Where do they come from ?
They are carefully extracted by hand from the salt mines of Khewra at the heart of the Himalayas in Kashmir, Pakistan.
And what’s the history behind them ?
In around 350 B.C. Alexander the Great was the first to bring this precious salt from Kashmir to Europe. In Ancient times it was reserved only for the gods and emperors.
