What Is Mrouzia Tajine Blend Composed Of?

This complex blend contains around fifteen spices including: cinnamon, combava, cumin, pink berries, coriander, turmeric, ginger, and rose petals.


Ceylon Cinnamon in Mrouzia Tajine Blend

Ceylon cinnamon, originating from Sri Lanka, is the bark of the cinnamon tree, a tree from the Lauraceae family, which belongs to the same family as the avocado tree or laurel. Cinnamon, Cinnanomum zeylanicum, whose harvest requires very great precision, comes from a tree that can reach between 10 to 15 meters high. The new branches are cut and rid of their fragrant outer bark which is the spice we all have in our cupboards: cinnamon.
