A crunchy spice with notes of roasted hazelnuts !
These sesame seeds from Lebanon have been carefully roasted by hand at a constant temperature. Once roasted, they release notes of grilled hazelnuts and cashew nuts.
Ideal with braised meat, pan-fried spring vegetables, a rib of beef served with sweet potato mash, warm fresh goat's cheese or even a sorbet.
Crack it roughly with a pestle and mortar and sprinkle over your dishes just before serving to preserve its powerful flavours and crunch.
