Iyokan is also called anadomikan, and is similar to a mandarin. It is the second most produced citrus fruit in Japan after the satsuma.
In Ehime prefecture, a variety of Iyokan has been developed in the shape of a pentagon, which is given to students during their exams to bring them luck.
