Traditional virgin peanut oil adds a touch of indulgence to your dishes, thanks to its intoxicating aroma of robust peanuts. It particularly enhances salads, tomatoes, mashed dishes, and your cheese-based recipes.
Whether you want to elevate your salads, intensify the flavor of your tomatoes, or accompany a succulent pan-fried foie gras, the peanut oil from Huilerie Beaujolaise is perfect for adding a toasted and robust note to all your dishes. It also pairs well with many cheese-based recipes, adding character to every bite.
This oil is best stored in a dry place, away from light, between 8°C and 20°C.
Peanut oil has a robust and toasted flavor. It is often used in Asian and African cuisine for its ability to withstand high cooking temperatures. The aroma of peanut oil comes from the fatty acids present in peanuts. These fatty acids give the oil its distinctive taste and a slight hazelnut scent.
The mill at Huilerie Beaujolaise still produces virgin peanut oil today, using an artisanal process. Peanuts are first crushed and then cooked for 45 minutes. They are pressed in a hydraulic press, giving the peanut oil a mild toasted hazelnut flavor. After settling, the oil is filtered using paper filters.
