Recipe of a typical indonesian dish, vegetarian nasi goreng

Ingredients for Nasi Goreng
- 120 - 150g of cooked white rice
- 4 shallots
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 small strong chilli pepper
- 2 eggs
- 3 spring onions
- 10g grilled cashew nuts
- a few Lampong peppercorns
- 2 pinches of coarse sea salt
- soy sauce
- oil
Preparation
- Crush the garlic, shallots, chilli pepper, pepper, coarse sea salt and cashew nuts with a pestle and mortar.
- Fry this ground mixture in a wok with some oil. Stir constantly until the mixture turns brown. Be careful not to overheat.
- Add the cooked rice to the wok.
- Add the eggs and thinly sliced spring onion.
- Stir for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add soy sauce just before serving to enhance the flavours.
