Terre Exotique spicy brown bread

Ingredients for the recipe:


  1. Activate the yeast with a small amount of warm water in a bowl.
  2. Meanwhile, add the Baker’s mix to the flour then add the yeast and water. Knead by hand until the dough is smooth and slightly elastic.
  3. Cover the dough with a warm damp tea towel then leave to rise for 1 and a half hours.
  4. Knock the air out of the dough with your fist then shape your bread, place on a baking tray and leave to rise again for an extra 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat your oven to 230°C. Sprinkle some seeds over the top of your bread, score the dough with the blade of a knife then brush with a pastry brush dipped in water.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes and enjoy your spicy bread warm as if it was straight from the baker’s oven!
