TERRE EXOTIQUE at SIRHA 2017

Eurexpo Lyon

Sirha is THE world hospitality and food service event. Terre Exotique was delighted to be present once again. 5 days to meet people and tell them more about our products and namely the King of all spices: Pepper!!!

A JOURNEY TO THE LAND OF PEPPERS, AT THE HEART OF LYON !

As usual, we were happy to present our entire range and to reveal some new flavours to our clients and passers-by. With more than 400 references, these events are a great opportunity to share the enthusiasm for our products and to present our new discoveries … But not only that! This year, we decided to take our visitors on a journey with us. We created a dedicated area focused on peppers and berries from around the world. We unveiled a connected toolwhich presents 10 peppers from around the world and films made when we travelled to meet our producers around the planet. Visitors had a total experience with our 360° videos. And of course, we also displayed “A Journey Through The Land of Peppers” gift box and booklet. The final of the prestigious Bocuse d’Or contest took place during Sirha, in front of more than 2,500 spectators. Under the expert eye of the most celebrated chefs worldwide, 24 young chefs competed in a magnificent show. Congratualations to all those who took part and a huge well done to the winners! The atmosphere in the arena was really quite something, anybody would have thought we were watching a sports match!

INTERACTIVE TOOL: OUR PEPPERS AND BERRIES

With the help of the design agency Le18, we presented an interactive tool enabling visitors to discover our peppers and berries with their 5 senses. By simply touching a spice, they discovered its characteristics, where it comes from and how to use it. The visitors at our stand were delighted to find out more about our peppers, like the Timur berry, from the Nepalese highlands, with its fresh scents of grapefruit.
