Spicy detox juice recipes

It’s time for drinks on the beach, week-ends in the sun with a BBQ, dinner parties with friends over a glass of wine… and it feels like a detox session might be a good idea!? To make the best detox juices it’s easy, you just need to be creative and let loose your imagination using spices to boost these tasty drinks full of energy!

Green hydrating juice

You can drink this detox juice every day. It’s one of the most alkaline drinks that our bodies can drink. Ingredients:
  • 2 cups spinach
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 cup green melon or a whole kiwi
  • 4 leaves fresh mint
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 cup mineral water or coconut water
You can also add a spoon of coconut oil, perfect for your digestion.

Early morning orange juice

The juice is perfect to start the day with a spring in your step! Ingredients:
  • 2 whole carrots
  • 1 large orange
  • ½ slice pineapple
  • ½ ripe banana
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 cup mineral water or coconut water
You can also add some yuzu zest to decorate your juice. This Japanese citrus fruit contains 3 times the vitamin C of a lemon and helps the production of collagen.

Watermelon Juice

A truly delicious potion! Ingredients:
  • 1 watermelon cut into pieces
  • 1 carrot
  • ½ cup strawberries
  • 1 apple
  • 1 teaspoon wild Voatsiperifery pepper ground just before using
  • 1 cup mineral water, coconut water or rice milk
If you’re not too keen on the spiciness of this juice, you can also use a pinch of nutmeg instead of the pepper for a smoother taste.
