Madeleines with geranium water

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F - Gas Mark 4) and butter your madeleine molds.

  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until you get a frothy mixture.

  3. Then add the sifted flour and baking powder, and mix gently.

  4. Incorporate the melted butter while continuing to mix.

  5. Finally, add the geranium water and mix until the batter is homogeneous.

  6. Let the batter rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

  7. Fill the madeleine molds 3/4 full with the batter.

  8. Bake the madeleines for about 10 to 12 minutes, until they are golden and slightly puffed.

  9. Allow them to cool slightly before unmolding the madeleines and enjoy them warm or at room temperature.

These madeleines infused with geranium water will be a delight for the taste buds, with their moist texture and subtle fragrance!
