Golden Milk cheesecake


Ingredients for Golden Milk cheesecake

  • 120 g speculoos, petit beurre or digestives
  • 50g butter
  • 130g Philadelphia cheese
  • 40g sugar
  • 3 teaspoons Golden milk for a strong taste - adjust to your own liking
  • 180g full fat cream
  • 3 or 4 ripe bananas
  • 3 spoons caramel


  1. Heat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Mix the biscuits and the butter.
  3. In a 17/18 cm springform tin lined on the bottom with greaseproof paper press in the biscuit mix tightly with the back of a spoon.
  4. Bake for 12/15 minutes.
  5. Press down the biscuit mix again on removing from the oven.
  6. Leave to cool.
  7. Whisk the Philadelphia, sugar, and Golden milk together.
  8. Whip the cream then add the cheese mix gently with a spatula.
  9. Slice the bananas 1cm thick and sprinkle with lemon juice so they don't discolor.
  10. Place them on the biscuit base.
  11. Cover with caramel (to make home-made caramel, start by caramelizing dry sugar then add the cream once the caramel starts to turn brown, whisk and leave to reduce for about 20 mins)
  12. Cover with the cream cheese mixture.
  13. Keep in the fridge overnight.
  14. Carefully remove from the tin.
