The bush mix !
Ever since time immemorial when the world was nothing but light and spirituality, the Aborigine culture has always had one sole aim: to preserve the earth as it was and how it should be. Nature is sacred to them. Until the 19th century they lived in harmony with nature, eating plants, and wild bush animals...
The name "Aborigine" comes from the latin "ab" and "origo" meaning "from the beginning ", they are indeed the first inhabitants of Australia, and have lived on the continent for almost 50,000 years.
The bushtucker: the hills, the sand plains, the forests, the rivers and streams, the marshes of the Northern territory, the limestone cliffs, are all home to a multitude of extraordinary wild animals and plants who have kept the Aborigines alive for thousands of years. Lemon myrtle and Tasmanian pepper from the Australian bush, are the two main flavours of this mix which the Aborigines use to season their meat and fish. The other ingredients are: nutmeg, anise seeds, lemon zest, paprika, celery, rosemary, garlic, black pepper, rice flour.
